September Face to Face Yoga Teacher Training weekend.
“Gary you’re up next”
I had been waiting for this moment for almost 2 hours and I was last on the list.
I had being watching as everyone in the class went up to demonstrate their Peak Yoga posture and I could feel the “tension” slowly start to rise within group
The funny thing was we weren’t being “graded” on this at all, so why were we all starting to feel this way???
Then it occurred to me, that after this weekend we only have 2 more face to face weekends to go, one in October and the last one in November and then our final practical before graduation!!
No pressure!!
So up I went to the front of the class and lay my yoga mat on the floor…….
I looked out at the Yoga Student Teachers, my friends….
To my amazement I felt an overwhelming sense of relief and in that moment I knew that I had this!
I started to speak and as it did so, I got this unbelievable sense of this is what I was meant to be doing and I was absolutely loving it!
This is a bit hard to explain but there was a lot of different emotions while I was presenting the short yoga class but amazingly they all seemed to be working for me and not against me.
And then it was over………………
WOW and in that moment I knew I needed to do more of this, not just in front of a Yoga Class but in other forums as well.
What that Hell had happened to me??
I’m not supposed to be enjoy this sort of thing???
But I did enjoy it…. and then it dawned on me that for the last 9 months I had being training for this very moment.
I had being teaching Yoga Classes to family and friends and doing small speech’s with my local toastmasters group….
So it wasn’t by chance, it was because I decided to go “All In” on my dreams and I know that if I can do this then everyone else can too!
